Beginning
I forgo entirely the reiteration of what you already know, having found your way here. Countless excellent websites and contributions exist — not only on substances, but on dependency in general. I contribute solely what, in my estimation, constitutes a distinct, guiding perspective. Hence, I intentionally employ concise language, neither debating nor disputing other approaches; I neither criticize nor provoke — but rather suggest or awaken, contingent upon the reader. Nature herself depends upon our judicious stewardship of resources. Thus, I eschew redundancies and tautologies wherever possible, directing attention to the digital cosmos that already holds these answers, and I shall endeavor not to misuse social media — as is commonplace today — with the superfluous, the senseless, or the futile. This very beginning reveals where dependency may commence or conclude: at the origin, in nature, or in the nature of things themselves.
For me, dependency constitutes no individual fate whose symptoms might be alleviated or cured. It is, rather, a tragic attribute — and by now, a deliberate method — of our society, rendered integrable.
This metaperspective enables targeted interventions, centered upon self-responsibility for the symptoms themselves.
