The other Websites
Dependency isn't just an individual issue tied to substances.
It's become a social phenomenon, a tragic trait, and regrettably a deliberate method of our society.
Right now, observably, it's evolving from isolated symptoms to a full syndrome — one that's hard to describe in its entirety.
At least, I haven't found the right words yet.
As a lateral thinker and advocate for a serious, secularized spirituality seeking proximity to natural sciences, undifferentiated descriptions quickly lead to intellectual suicide — even when it's just constructive criticism. You can only afford that luxury situationally, because dependencies always run deep, on every level.
As an exception, I have retained the original German labels. Here, the word is actually written as one word. In many places, this is a bad habit of my compatriots.
The label "Inkompetenzkompensationskompetenz" (incompetence-compensation-competence) mentioned in the concept summary can take further forms, as hinted there.
I plan to expand these concepts publicly on another website. On the other hand, much speaks for keeping the topic here, since dependencies rarely develop in isolation — they often cluster, frequently as indirect consequences of causal chains. This cycles us back regularly to substances or other consumption types, including psychological ones.
To give a small preview of this area, here are some variants from my core competencies:
For financial sector abuse and resulting dependency, it might simply be "Unvermögen-Ausgleichs-Vermögen" (inability-compensation-wealth) or more vividly "Vermögensausgleichsunvermögen" (wealth-compensation-inability).
The rising spiritual abuse occurs via "Unbewusstheitsbewusstseinslehre" (unconsciousness-consciousness-teaching) or "Bewusstseinsverdrängungsbewusstseins" (consciousness-suppression-consciousness).
State and broad economic abuse can be sketched as "Ohnmachtsmachtsteuerung" (powerlessness-power-control) or punchily "Ohnmacht(kompensations)kompetenz" (powerlessness(compensation)competence). For the latter, nothing even needs compensating, hence the brackets.
Another area close to my heart: creativity, R&D, and innovation — especially amid the hype around AI, crypto, and such — and the direct, abstract dependencies arising from them. Much of the supposed "Theory of Mind" will carry evolutionary yet disruptive consequences once we cross critical thresholds. For now, since everything seems tacitly accepted, I refrain from broader commentary for the same reasons as above.
The possibilities for working further with this word-gift are limitless, because wherever cultural, economic, or social abuse occurs, dependencies form.
Wherever dependencies exist, strategies emerge offering emotional relief — first soothing, then reinforcing or diverging.
This becomes especially clear when considering "Emotionsbewältigungsemotion" (emotion-coping-emotion), "Emotionsersatzemotion" (emotion-substitute-emotion), "Emotionsverdrängungsemotion" (emotion-suppression-emotion), or "Emotionsvermeidungsemotion" (emotion-avoidance-emotion). All variants present in pure substance dependency too, easily derived from the primal construct "Emotionskompensationsemotion" (emotion-compensation-emotion).
It's evident there are varying degrees of processing within these constructs, overlapping further with other disciplines.
The background and models for this topic are diverse and already formulated by me.

Ultimately, it always comes down to wanting to know what we should know — for us and our true selves, no matter why!
Most things we truly do to ourselves — and that's usually unnecessary.
