Addiction Note

I know the title here isn't ideal right now. It sounds like a warning, but it's well-meant advice — dependents and their families are close to my heart.

It never matters who can help you. What's crucial is letting yourself be helped. That's why I've prominently added this note to the contact line.

I know I'm special — but so are you!

So: Even if I can't pick you up here, or you don't like me right now, that's fine!

Do yourself a favor: Talk directly to someone or seek anonymous help elsewhere. If you've found this site, you've already been engaging with the topic for a while. Since I don't believe in coincidence, I assume it was a targeted search.

That's good — very good even. But it also shows it might soon be time to open up more …
